[RUMOR] iPhone 5 Could Be Revealed on September 7

I’ve grown to be so reliant on my iPhone and I am pretty positive many feel the same way too. Left my phone behind this morning and I just had to backtrack in order to grab it. Otherwise, I would not have survived without GPS, e-mail, whatsapp, notes, twitter, Safari to Google everything else I need i.e. nearest location of fast cheque machine, money changer etc. That is how important.

Here is a rumor about the much anticipated iPhone 5 (and I thought someone told me the release was supposed to be in July??)

The following article is extracted from mashable.com (by Sarah Kessler):

A report from one Japanese website marks September 8 as the date of Apple’s next media event, at which some expect the company to launch the iPhone 5.

The company has historically released its new phones at its summer Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). This year, in the wake of the Verizon iPhone 4 release, that tradition failed to pan out.

Apple’s annual September media event seems like a logical alternative, although it has in the past been reserved for iPod launches.

The date of the event, like most things Apple, is still safely in rumor territory. MacRumors says that it has asked blog Kodawarisan for the source of the date, and found it came from “a source in the know.”

Even if the date is accurate, it might not be when Apple decides to reveal the iPhone 5. AllThingsD heard from “sources familiar with the matter” that the iPhone 5 wouldn’t launch until October.

The Website

It is now live and alive –almost– up-to-date 🙂 Just waiting for the right content to be ready i.e. the collection pictures and details and write ups…

TC has been slogging hard cuztomizing HTML codes, images and etc in the past month to get this ready. Soooo grateful that he has taken a huge load off my shoulders. I have one less thing to worry about 🙂 And he has finally woken up the IT cells that run in his family of IT professionals; system analyst, programmer, SAP specialist (except for him; who didn’t even know how to properly reformat a computer system lol).

Stamping & Recesky

Spent a good 2-hours on a Saturday night, trying to complete the artwork for print on an inner pouch. The borders and postage stamp took less than 10 minutes and who would have guessed that the most tiring part is the stamping, grrrr. My Photoshop skill has not upgraded after so long, ish. What I was struggling with were the wavy lines and charcoal/chalk brush stroke. I knew where the commands were but pardon my lack of memory to even remember which value to tweak in order to get the correct wavy-ness; amplitude or wavelength. Bloopers, that is B-a-s-i-c physics.

Finally got down to it and rushed out for a late dinner with my sister @ Somerset 313 and we went to check out Hansel’s new place @ Mandarin Gallery. So lovely. Totally love the clean setting.

Dragged my feet home (with tonnes of goodies from the Kiwi Land courtesy of my sis) and tried to clear my mind of everything (so many things) and take a rest. Then, I thought about my Recesky TLR sitting in my kitchen, un-assembled.

Shall do it soon….hopefully it is not too difficult for me to understand.

iPhone 4 – Hate It!

Not for the functions or appearance and what not. But for SINGTEL’s unprofessional service.

Initially, I was really excited to blog about my new handsome iPhone but unfortunately the evening took a really long turn and here is my complaint to Singtel instead:

I just bought iPhone 4 at approximately 8pm from Bugis branch. Clarified with the customer service officer that my existing line will not be interrupted until the new SIM card is activated (24hrs later). Half an hour later, my mobile line disconnected without any prior warning while I was on my way for an important meeting. Both old & new SIM cards are not working at all!!!!!!

EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED WITH SINGTEL’s UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE!

Customers should have been given advanced notice so that we can make our arrangements. The unexpected lost of connection has caused me great inconvenience and mis-communication tonight. And I am very angry that SingTel chose to be so inconsiderate. I have been a loyal SingTel customer for the past couple of years and this clearly shows how unappreciative you are. This will be the last I will ever recommend your service to anyone and hopefully my contract will end as soon as possible; so then I can cut all relationships with this telco provider.
